Join us riverside, for a new you in a digital world of distractions.
What’s Provided
We’ll take care of the essentials – kayak, paddle, wetsuit & buoyancy aid are all included in your course. Just bring along your swimwear, a towel and a pair of suitable footwear you don’t mind getting wet. We’ll handle the rest, so you can focus on getting comfortable on the water.
Course Duration
This course runs over two full days (typically at weekends), or across six evening sessions during the summer months. Designed to suit busy lives whilst allowing time to absorb and reflect.
What Gets Covered
Throughout the level 2 Kayak Skills Award, you will develop a solid foundation in kayak strokes, rescue techniques, peer paddling and trip planning – with an emphasis on safety, awareness and learning through experience. Each session invites you to build confidence on the water while becoming an active, aware member of your paddling group. On successful completion, you’ll earn the Canoeing Ireland Level 2 Skills Award and the skills to both paddle and journey with purpose.
